The Upturned Crack
A frantic adventure. Welcome to the Upturned Inn: a grand hotel for the dead! You just want to find your room.
The protagonist is the player controlled character in The Upturned. The protagonist is never given a canonical name and instead the name you make at the beginning of the game is what he goes by for the entire game. Though they are commonly called the traveler in the Zeekers' discord and in other places.
The player's first name has two letters and three letters in the last name. When inputting the name, there is no backspace.
The protagonist is a black humanoid character made of ash. They have no distinguishable features other than a pair of white eyes that occasionally become noticeable in moments of shock and his iconic, wide-brimmed, light brown hat.
Little is known about the protagonist's past, outside of what Ik reads to him throughout the game.
- He was a young child during the 2020's.
- He led evacuations into humanity's bunker system.
- He survived alone in the bunker system for one year, fending off rabid mutant boars.
- He died in 2039 due to spontaneous combustion.
